There are a few updates to the requirements for applicants for Fall 2019 admission:

1.     For English Proficiency, the IELTS minimum total score for full status admission has changed to 7.5. https://grad.illinois.edu/admissions/instructions/04c

2.     The minimum IELTS score range of 6.5-7.0, with Limited status admission, requires registration for a 4-week intensive English course during summer 2019 and an English Placement Test (EPT).

3.     Minimum TOEFL score requirements have not changed.

4.     GRE Scores are requested by May 1, 2019.

We appreciate your assistance in recruiting top students and encourage you to advertise the program among students in the School of Civil Engineering and the School of Traffic and Transportation at Beijing Jiaotong University.  The application deadline for Fall 2019 admission to the 3+2 program is February 15, 2019.  Please encourage interested students to begin preparing by taking TOEFL or IELTS exams and the GRE, and have scores ready to submit with their applications.
