报告人简介:Dr.Peerapong is now an associate professor and joined the Department of Civil Engineering at Chiang Mai University since 2016. After graduating with a BEng (Civil Engineering) from Chiang Mai University, Thailand in 1996, he was trained as a geotechnical engineer, and completed a MEng from Chiang Mai University Thailand in 2001. In 2005, DrPeerapong moved to Australia to pursue his PhD in civil engineering at Curtin University of Technology in 2007. After his PhD graduation, Dr. Peerapong worked as academic staff at Curtin University before joining Chiang Mai University.

报告简介:To be more sustainable in the road construction industry, the rock-based geopolymer concept should be applied with an aim to create a geopolymer-based road structural layer. A research initiative to use geopolymer as a road construction material was established at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. This research episode concentrated on the primary study of compaction characteristics of crushed rock geopolymer (CR-GP) in conjunction with its unconfined compressive strength and micro observations through SEM, XRF and XRD.
