讲座内容:Yi Edward Zhou, PhD, PE National Practice Leader – Bridge Instrumentation & Evaluation URS Corporation Maryland, U.S.A. 周毅, 博士/ 注册工程师 美国URS公司桥梁检测与评定全美业务主管 Email: ezhou98@yahoo.com / ed.zhou@urs.com Dr. Zhou is the National Practice Leader in Bridge Instrumentation and Evaluation of URS Corporation – one of the largest engineering firms in the world. He is a recognized expert in bridge evaluation and retrofit through special inspections, finite element analysis, load testing, and structural monitoring using various nondestructive field instrumentation technologies. In the past nearly 20 years, he has evaluated over 80 bridges of various structural types across the United States. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northern Jiaotong University in 1982, M.E. in Railway Engineering from China Academy of Railway Sciences in 1985, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University in 1990 and 1994, respectively. Dr. Zhou has served in several national technical committees in the United States as: past chairman of ASCE Committee on Fatigue & Fracture; member of ASCE Committee on Methods of Monitoring Structural Performance; member of TRB Committee on Field Testing and Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) of Transportation Structures; and member of AREMA Committee 15 Steel Structures and Committee 17 High Speed Rail Systems. He served as co-PI in research projects with NCHRP for updating AASHTO steel bridge fatigue evaluation provisions and USDOT RITA for development of new technologies in monitoring structural performance. Dr. Zhou has been an adjunct professor of Johns Hopkins University since 2000, teaching graduate level courses in bridge engineering. He is also an adjunct professor of Beijing Jiaotong University and Chang’an University in China. 周毅博士在世界最大的工程咨询公司之一美国URS公司任桥梁检测与评定全美业务主管。他是桥梁检测与加固，结构分析，桥梁无损检测及健康监测方面的知名专家。在过去的近20年里，他评定了分布美国各地的80多座各种结构形式的既有桥梁。他于1982年在北方交通大学获得铁道工程学士，1985年在中国铁道科学研究院获得铁道工程硕士，1990年和1994年在美国里海大学分别获得结构工程硕士和博士学位。 周博士在多个全美学术委员会任职：他是美国土木工程学会(ASCE)疲劳与断裂学术委员会前主席和结构表现监测学术委员会委员，美国国家科学院(NAS)交通研究委员会(TRB)交通结构现场测试与无损检测学术委员会委员，及北美铁路工程与养护学会(AREMA)钢结构委员会和高速铁路系统委员会的委员。他的主要科研成果包括为美国州级公路与交通运输管理者协会(AASHTO)更新钢桥疲劳评定规范以及为美国交通部创新科技管理署(USDOT/RITA)研发桥梁结构监测技术。周博士自2000年起任美国约翰•霍普金斯大学客座教授，教授桥梁工程研究生课程。他还在北京交通大学和长安大学任客座教授。 讲座时间和安排： 《既有桥梁结构评定方法与技术》 12月16日 8:30-11:00：（1）桥梁评定方法与技术综述 12月17日 8:30-11:00：（2）结构强度荷载评定法 12月18日 8:30-11:00：（3）钢桥疲劳评估与修复 12月19日 8:30-11:00：（4）实例分析 地点：综合试验楼617
